Description2×6 is used to build window and door openings in concrete walls. In conjunction with treated plywood bucks are built and set in place prior to concrete pouring so that windows and doors can be installed in the openings later. For bucks, the recommendation is to rip the 2×6 at a 30-degree angle to help secure the bucks to the concrete.2×6 is sold as full 16′ lengths but can be custom cut and built to suit any project or opening requirements. |
